Developing a Coaching Style of Leadership
This is a two-day programme to provide awareness and experience of a coaching style of leadership. It is designed for organisations that want to equip their leaders and executives with the skills needed to demonstrate a more facilitative approach - to get the best out of their people, via a balanced use of active support and constructive challenge.
It is designed for leaders and executives with little or no coaching experience. It can be particularly suited to those who have been promoted on the basis of technical expertise or who have otherwise become used to advising and directing, rather than delegating and supporting.
This programme is delivered in English, as more and more companies use this as their company language. Thus, executives also learn to feel comfortable engaging in coaching conversations with their people, in English.
The programme provides leaders and executives with a basic range of coaching knowledge, tools and techniques to help them to release the potential and maximise the performance of individuals and teams.
The programme uses the AoEC Executive Coaching Certificate as its base and adds personalised elements for participant organisations. It ensures an initial understanding of the uses of a coaching style of leadership and covers the essential steps for conducting effective coaching conversations.
The design of this two-day programme is highly experiential. The trainers adjust the learning approach to suit the needs and experience of participants.
